Washington University in St. Louis Student Health Services is happy to announce the arrival of the SHS Student Portal. This system allows students to:
- communicate with providers securely
- submit health history forms electronically
- schedule and cancel select appointments online
Secure Messaging FAQ
How do I initiate communication with, or receive messages from my SHS provider?
Log into the SHS Student Portal and select the 'Messages' link to initiate communication with your SHS Provider, or to read your providers response.
How will I know if a provider has sent me a message?
The SHS Secure Messaging tool utilizes your email address listed in WebSTAC. Please verify your email address in WebSTAC to ensure you receive the notification from SHS.
The email you receive from SHS will look like this:

Online Health History Form FAQ
What do I need to submit my Health History Form online?
You must have your WebSTAC ID and password to submit your Health History Form online. If you do not yet have a WebSTAC ID, you should expect it sometime in June.
What is the deadline for submitting my Health History Form?
The deadline for submitting your Health History Form for Fall '07 is September 30, 2007. The Health History Form must be completed before you can register for Spring '08 classes.
Do I need an examination by a doctor, or a doctor's signature for my Health History Form?
No, we do not require a doctor's examination or a doctor's signature.
Is a physical exam required?
No, we do not require a physical exam.
What do I need to do to be considered compliant?
You must complete the entire Health History Form, and the Immunizations section. You will find both in the "Forms" section of the SHS Student Portal.

What types of appointments can I make online?
The available visit types include:
- Allergy Injections
- Immunizations
- Medical Visit - General
- Men's Health Visit
- Nutrition - New Client
- Nutrition - Returning Client
- Physical Exam

- Women's Health Annual Exam
The list of visit types available for online scheduling will grow over time, so check back often. At this time we do not offer the ability to make, cancel or reschedule Mental Health appointments online. To schedule a Mental Health appointment, please call 935-6666 option #2. We ask that you plan on arriving at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

Using Online Scheduling is quick and easy. Simply click here to begin, enter your WebSTAC information, wait a few seconds to be authenticated, then click the link to access the Washington University in St. Louis Student Health Services Student Portal to schedule, cancel, or reschedule appointments.
