Secure Messaging FAQ

How do I initiate communication with, or receive messages from my SHS provider?

Log into the SHS Student Portal and select the 'Messages' link to initiate communication with your SHS Provider, or to read your providers response.

How will I know if a provider has sent me a message?

The SHS Secure Messaging tool utilizes your email address listed in WebSTAC. Please verify your email address in WebSTAC to ensure you receive the notification from SHS.

Who do I contact if I have questions concerning the information that needs to be submitted?

What do I need to submit my Health History Form online?

You must have your WUSTL KEY and password to submit your Health History Form online. If you do not yet have a WUSTL KEY, you should expect it sometime in June.

What immunizations are required before I come to Washington University in St. Louis?

Two Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccines or titers to prove immunity for each Tuberculin Skin testing (PPD) for international students from countries other than Western Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Will I need to provide the rest of my immunization dates?

Yes, please have the dates of all of your immunizations that you have had available when the immunization form is being completed. The form will ask you for those dates. It is beneficial to provide these dates if you will be traveling abroad during your time at Washington University.

 

What is the deadline for submitting my Health History, Immunization, and Meningitis information?

The deadline for submitting your Health History, Immunization, and Meningitis information for Fall '10 is September 30, 2010. The Health History, Immunization, and Meningitis information must be completed before you can register for Spring '11 classes.

Do I need an examination by a doctor, or a doctor's signature for my Health History Form?

No, we do not require a doctor's examination or a doctor's signature.

Is a physical exam required?

No, we do not require a physical exam.

What do I need to do to be considered compliant?

You must complete the entire Health History, Immunization, and Meningitis information. You will find all three in the "Forms" section of the SHS Student Portal.

At this time we do not offer the ability to make, cancel or reschedule Mental Health appointments online. To schedule a Mental Health appointment, please call 935-6666 option #2. We ask that you plan on arriving at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
