What To Do When SHS is Closed
A nurse is available by phone for urgent conditions when SHS is closed. To discuss a concern, please call 5-6666, option #1. A nurse will take your information and give you advice on how to best handle your situation.
These nurses do not have access to the scheduling system or lab tests and other medical information from your personal medical record. Please do not call this line for routine appointments or test results.
Appointments
Appointments are suggested for the most efficient service.
How to Schedule an Appointment
- Use the SHS Student Portal. Click the ginkgo leaf below to schedule, or reschedule an appointment online using the SHS Student Portal.

- For same-day Medical appointments, call 935-6666 option #3 while SHS is open or come directly to SHS for a nursing evaluation.
- For Mental Health appointments, call 935-6666 option #2.
- Please note that all first-time mental health appointments must be done over the phone by calling 935-6666 option #2.
Important Information About Your Appointment
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early.
- Appointments will be forfeited if you are more than 7 minutes late.
- Use the self check-in station.
- Bring a list of any medications you are currently taking and any known food or drug allergies.
Canceling an Appointment
- Use the SHS Student Portal. Click the ginkgo leaf below to cancel, or reschedule an appointment online using the SHS Student Portal.

- For Medical Appointments, call 935-6666, option #3. You may leave a message if no one is available to take your call.
- For Mental Health appointments, call 935-6666 option #2.
- There is a $20 fee for appointments that are not cancelled 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
