2007-2008 Health Insurance Rates

The Washington University Student Health Insurance plan allows a student participating in the plan to sign up dependents for health care coverage and enables a student to add optional insurance coverages for students and their families. Students are automatically enrolled in the health insurance plan upon registration for the current semester. Students are not eligible to add dependents or optional coverages until they are fully registered as a student and have been enrolled in the student health insurance plan.

These rates are in effect as of 8/15/07 for the policy year which expires 8/14/08. Enrollment for dependent and optional coverages will be only available via the website and will not be open until approximately 8/10/07. The DEADLINE for enrollment for these coverages is 9/15/07. The only exception to this deadline will be students who have dependents entering the country later than September 15, 2007. Enrollment for those dependents will be open from the time they enter the US for a 30 day period. Verification will be required.
