Making an appointment online

Habif Health and Wellness Center (HHWC) uses  Student Portal, an integrated method for students to schedule, cancel, or reschedule an appointment. Online appointments via Student Portal are recommended for the most efficient service. Next day medical appointments open up all night long after 6 pm.  If you don't see a next day appointment available at first glance, check back during the evening when more appointments open up each hour.

Same-day medical appointments

We often have same day appointments on line. If you do not see one available, and you are in need of more immediate medical attention, please call 314-935-6666 during regular hours or come directly to HHWC for a nursing evaluation.

Do I need to visit HHWC?

Many students come to HHWC with upper respiratory tract infections. Most of these are viral, and can be treated at home with over-the-counter medications. Compare your symptoms to determine whether a visit to HHWC is necessary to treat your complaint Do I need to visit HHWC?

Mental health appointments

The first step for most students seeking mental health services is a brief, confidential phone conversation with a MHS staff member. The purpose of the conversation is to clarify and assess your needs, and explore options for next steps.

The telephone assessment can be scheduled online through the student portal Subsequent mental health appointments may also be scheduled via the HHWC Student Portal

Nutrition appointments

Nutrition services are available by appointment Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Students can meet with a dietitian to talk about a variety of nutritional needs, including weight management, food allergies, diabetes management, eating disorders, and nutrition for performance. You can also prepare for your appointment by reading more about proper nutritional habits. Before your appointment, keep a food journal of what you eat and drink for 2 to 3 days.

Schedule nutrition appointments via the  Student Portal or by calling                314-935-6666, option #0.
